Our client, a growing company that operates in the healthcare industry in the greater Fresno area is looking to add a seasoned staff accountant to their team of professionals.
In this role you will have the pleasure of reorting directly to the controller and will oversee the following duties:
Processing of full cycle AP (batching, matching, coding) and preparation of journal entries, maintenance of the General Ledger, cash management/accounting, bank and cash reconciliations, cost accounting , audits, and reporting and analysis for management level.
The ideal candidate is someone that holds a minimum of an Associate Degree in Accounting accompanied with a strong knowledge of GAAP and a minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an accounting professional. This person needs to have a proven track record in accounting and analytics. Someone that finds it a joy to dive into the nitty gritty and is not scared to provide conclusions based on the story that the numbers are projecting. The candidate therefor also has to have strong communication skills to provide conclusions to fellow team members, leadership and other internal and external stakeholders. Industry experience from Government, non for profit, Medical, are all highly desired.
